Due to the anatomical shape of the KURUSOLE, custom orthotics with a rounded heel fit best inside our shoes. If the underside of the custom orthotic (the part that sits on the footbed) is squared off, then it may not fit into our deep heel cup—which is rounded like your foot. That said, many of our customers tell us the KURUSOLE technology offers better support and stability than they expected, and that they don't need to wear their custom orthotics with KURU shoes.

As good as advertised... I was a bit hesitant at first to buy because of the cost, but decided to take a risk at least one time to see if they were indeed different than other shoes I have used for years. Right out of the box, I could tell they were far more supportive and of much better construction (I will have to wait to see how they hold up over time). These seem to be constructed of real leather, and thus are aesthetically a good looking semi-dress shoe, with the comfort of an athletic shoe. Based on my experience thus far, I imagine I will be a repeat customer with Kuru.
