ATOM WIDE

I used my shoes for running. I run a couple hundred miles in the last and this year. I got them because they were recommended for my plantar fasciitis and they didn't disappoint! Even though I was still in pain, when running in them it felt like my foot and heel was protected. Pain went away eventually. My feet roll inwards and the shoes provided great support, though I got some wear because I wore them so much. It's time for a new pair!

These have been the best shoe! I recently had a full ankle replacement and they wanted me in a hard sole shoe, I tried merrels and they hurt both feet, so I googled and these came up, I ordered them and I’ve been walking so much better, they cup your ankle, give support and aren’t like walking on cement. I feel they were also true to size! I will definitely be ordering more!

I suffer from chronic pain in my heels and ankles. I gave Kuru a try because the heel to toe drop was comparable to the shoes I currently wear and like. The arch support in a lot of shoes tends to be too high for my foot causing too much unnecessary pain. The arch in these shoes is built different. They don't put a big arch in a flat shoe, they put support in the arch and drop the toe allowing you to be supported instead of having a mountain driving up into the middle of your foot when you walk. It's actually very smart. I spent an entire day doing shoe research. I was skeptical to purchase a shoe I hadn't tried on however, they have a great return policy that made me feel comfortable to make such a large purchase, shoe untested. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of socks. The shoes looked exactly like the pictures and exceeded my expectations. I love the way the ATOM looks. From the minute I put the shoes on and wore them, I felt relief. The first day, I only wore them an hour in the house and after that my feet were ready to wear them all day. My heel pain is gone when I wear these shoes. As soon as I take them off and walk barefoot or in another pair of shoes, the pain comes back. They really do hug and support your heel SO WELL! The toe box is SO roomy too! This is the first pair of shoes I have ever worn where I can wiggle my toes and stretch them out and yet the shoe is not loose at all! I was contemplating ordering a wide just simply because my smallest toe tends to rub on my shoes but I am glad I didn't because the space in these shoes is so perfect for me. My only con would be that the shoe can be slightly complicated to get on sometimes because of the tight "sock" part of the shoe but it's really not that bad. They have a large loop in the back on the heel to pull the shoe on. Usually the heel loops on shoes are too small to get my finger into. I have also noticed that after long periods of time the top edge of the shoe can dig into the bottom of my ankle bone but it's not enough to really bother me where I feel like I have to take them off. I was also worried about the shoe looking or feeling huge on my feet but, they don't! They really look so nice and make me comfortable to wear sneakers more than I ever have! My husband is sold on them after my experience and plans to purchase sneakers from here as well. I can't say enough great things about these shoes.
